The HG Zaku I is a classic from the pre-unicorn era of high grades, but it still holds up amazingly, with very few amount of exceptions. it has a decent amount of sub-par seem lines, and articulation could be better (does have a poseable monoeye). The color accuracy and separation is fantastic, however, and the amount of accessories is just what you need from a 14$ HG.

I absolutely loved this build. It was simple, satisfying, and true to the classic anime look. The plastic feels very sturdy and the colors compliment each other well. While nothing like a master grade, the articulation is still wonderful. All in all, a great and simple build that’s totally worth the $14.
