Super Robot Wars is a long-running Japanese tactical role-playing game franchise developed by Banpresto and later Bandai Namco Entertainment. The series began in 1991 on the Nintendo Game Boy and became famous for crossing over characters, pilots, and giant robots from many popular anime series into one original story.
