Sweets Kendamas Pro Model

The second Josh Kim Pro Model kendama is here. RAGE is a reflection on Josh's emotions surrounding kendama and finding his place in the constantly evolving kendama landscape.

"Rage is not a comfortable emotion, but I believe it points to where they’re going. This last chapter of kendama has been full of rage and questions, but it has uprooted my posture and lead me to focus more on creating community in NYC. Where do i belong in kendama? For now, it is clear I belong here in NYC creating space to enjoy kendama. Does my effort even matter? It does. I know this because 10 years ago there was a boy who would travel to Washington Wquare Park to play kendama. and it mattered to him" - Josh Kim

The kendama that came from this reflection is elegant in it's simplicity, while creating visual and litteral layers in the design. Engravings and subtle print highlight the wood in a unique way and make for a kendama that is beautiful to play and admire. The updated Broken 2.0 shape, improves on the previous Josh Kim shape to improve play even further.
