After a long wait, we are finally able to announce the winners of
PLASTIC TACTICS 3 PIGMENT PARAGONS!!

All entries were scored by all GUNNZO staff, and this contest was very close. We apologize for taking time to announce but finally the three entries and one honorable mention were selected as winners.

The submissions were graded as follows:

🏆1st Winner 93.5 point [Vaporwave Kshatriya] Modeler: Caleb Lunt Model: HG Kshatriya The “Vaporwave Kshatriya” has landed itself in the top spot through its creative use of the vaporwave aesthetic and UV reactive paint. The masking, gradient, and finish on this paint job were executed incredibly, and the UV paint provides the kit with two different looks at the same time. The model can be displayed without the light for a more tame paint scheme or with a UV light for the true vaporwave experience. Definitely an attention grabber with a fantastic mix of gunpla and vibrance!

🥈2nd Winner 90.5 point [Burning Rose Freedom Gundam] Modeler: Ramiro Ramirez Model: HG Freedom Gundam With a complete overhaul of the original Freedom Gundam, the Burning Rose Freedom Gundam takes second place! The amazing contrast between the subtle rose pink of the mobile suit to its blazing wings makes it a paint job worth remembering and one you can’t forget!

🥉3rd Winner 87 point [AMS-123-X Petronas AMG Moon Gundam] Modeler: Daniel Cunningham Model: HG Moon Gundam Details, details and more details. The “AMS-123-X Petronas AMG Moon Gundam” is a prime example of intricacy and attention to detail! Every thruster painted and detailed, every decal lined up perfectly, and every accent color masked flawlessly. Not only was it executed excellently, but this color scheme for the Moon Gundam was tastefully done, and it gives us a more realistic look to a modern classic!

 

🌟GUNNZO Honorable Mention Award🌟 Modeler: Matthew Hansen Model: HG Kshatriya A classical approach to painting is something that we had to recognize for this contest. Fine lines, a clean finish, and fantastic detail is what this gunpla is all about. The Kshatriya was as close to the anime version as possible. The finish layer is a perfect garnish to the color scheme that brings a sense of scale to the model kit. A truly great addition to the contest.
