The Nu Gundam Chronicles: Piece by Piece Part 1

Hello Everyone! It’s been a hot minute! It's Yozora, one of your friendly here at GUNNZO. Not only am I here to help bring you amazing Gundam, but I am also a Student and avid Gunpla enthusiast. Today, I'm inviting you all to join me on my journey on building an absolute masterpiece!

Oh no, my wallet’s dead.

Back in October of last year, I was invited to the 63rd All Japan Hobby Expo during my study abroad in Tokyo(@hope_abroad27 on insta!). During all of the amazing experiences of meeting the people who help the PlaMo hobby succeed in Japan and Beyond, I managed to get a look at the Bandai Hobby Booth. There I saw it, my Holy Grail- the 1/60 PG Nu Gundam UNLEASHED. I knew that I'd have to get my hands on it. But the price was a tad too high. After a bit of saving, I managed to pick up the kit AND the LED Unit at GUNNZO. My wallet was screaming in pain and I prepared myself for the craziest build of my life.

THAT’ A LOT OF PARTS!
HOLY MOLY! THERE WERE THREE BOXES WITHIN THE BOX. It took I KID YOU NOT, AN HOUR to separate the Parts into their respective locations

After all that unboxing, it was time to work on the legs.

Right leg
The manual dictates to start with the leg frame of the Nu, and so I shall. The frame is incredibly intricate and beautiful with the singular leg taking 9 hours total between adding the plastic stickers, the Metal Etching Stickers and the wiring to make this look beautiful. But once I got all of the modules connected, it became MASSIVE and beautiful. The fact that a single unarmored leg can be this big has really shattered the sense of scale, even for a PG this kit is MASSIVE

Look out for more updates as I work on the second leg and waist are done!
